Be sure to include your name, return address, a daytime telephone number, and a description of the problem with your brailler. Braille writers should be well-packed in a sturdy cardboard box* and can be shipped in one of two ways:
1. Send by U.S. Postal Service under the "Free Matter for the Blind" postal codes** or
2. Send by UPS - ground transportation and pay a shipping fee
*Braillers received in poor or damaged boxes will be repackaged in a new, sturdy box and clients will be charged a small fee to cover the cost of the box. This is to protect repaired braillers.
** Please be aware that if you send your brailler as "free matter for the blind," the postal service is not responsible for loss or theft. You can, however, pay to insure it and still mail it "free matter."
